ZDNet writes that Inktomi, "will overhaul its search engine software for enterprise-level XML translation." What is enterprise-level XML translation? I'm not sure. But, it's "a move that will rebuild Inktomi's content management and other applications for structured and unstructured data searches in online exchange environments." This must be something, because, "Prices for Inktomi Search/Web, available now, range up to $20 for each URL to be indexed." Yowzer.
