I wanna read more books

I just cancelled my Netflix (again) and TiVo subsccriptions. Netflix took 30 seconds, from their web site. TiVo took a five-minute call (after poking around the web site for a while and not finding it) and talking to a live human. Winner? I dunno. Should such companies try to make it easy to cancel their service? There are certainly services that are billed to my credit card every month that I would have cancelled long ago if it were easier. (Microsoft bCentral comes to mind.) They make more money that way, but I like them less. I've subscribed to Netflix twice now (btw, they did offer a $12.99 rate for six months to try and get me to stay).
