Two days ago, I was driving down Bryant street in San Francisco when, at the 4th street intersection, there was sudddenly a car in front of me, going the way a car shouldn't be going. Seconds later, I was in a fog of airbag smoke and the echo of a big bang in my ear, sitting at the curb in my car, which now looked like this:
I was relieved, first of all, when I saw everyone in the other car get out and say they were unhurt. And then when I heard the other driver say "I'm so SORRY!," which was my first indication it wasn't my fault. Than the MUNI bus driver drove by and yelled out the window, "She totally ran the red light!"

So let that be a lesson to you: People don't always follow rules.
