Google's new "GoogleScout" search is interesting. The only description I see on their site is "Use GoogleScout to get a list of a company's competitors, or to get high-quality sites related to the fan page of your favorite actor or athlete." When I hit GoogleScout for "evhead", I get back lots of links that make sense (Pyra, Megnut, A List Apart archives, MetaGrrrl) inter-mixed with lots of things I can't account for (Pogen Life Sciences?, USA Women's World Cup Online?). Not any stranger than your average search results, I guess. But curious, very curious. Then again, I'm not a company or anyone's favorite actor or athlete, so I suppose I'm not using the tool for what it was designed.
