Linux Today (via Scripting News):
"The chances that [Steve Balmer] would actually respond [to an email] are approximately one to googolplex. On the other hand, Tom Christensen usually responds to my E-mail within the nanosecond." Um...I know it's terribly unfashionable to say anything sounding remotely like defense of MS, but that fact allows too much logic like this go unquestioned. This comparison is ridiculous. Tom Christensen may be a big-wig in the Perl world, but he is not the president of a multi-billion-dollar, international corporation. People at that level have always been and always will be difficult to get in front of. There's just too much noise. Platform is irrelevant.
