NY Times: "Think about how many of your friends have innocently purchased [a PDA] and then become wholly engulfed by a new love and a cult-like zeal, caressing the device at frequent intervals and scouring the Web for hot new applications to download and lovingly install." Caressing? Yes. Scouring the web for hot new applications? No. I've found that the vast majority of my Palm-slinging friends (which seems to be most of them) haven't even considered the possibility of adding applications to it. Maybe I just don't have geeky enough friends.
