It's extraordinarily difficult (or maybe it just requires more self-discipline than I can muster) to publish a weblog tool and not spend way too much of your time surfing obscure blogs. Hell, I could spend all day just visiting the list of new Blogger-blogs and recently updated blogs, let alone all the places they take me. I think we need to hire an admin/surfer (any volunteers? you'll work for free, right?). Anyway, I don't recommend going into the weblog tools business if you ever again want to get anything done. And I'm not just saying that to discourage competition. There's also no money in it. And people want you to fix things when they're broken. (Sheesh!) It's just a really bad idea, in general.

I'm in a goofy mood today. I didn't shave (all weekend -- or today). I've been staying up late programming and watching bad television. I'm likely to post lots of stupid things and then delete them later. I get like this around Christmas. Usually, much sooner, but it's too warm here for it ever to feel Christmasy, so it sneaks up on me.

Oh, and today's picture is a cow. No, it's a bull, but I'm not going to get technical on you. It was taken in February, last time I was home, about a mile from where I grew up. If all goes as unplanned, I will be back there in a week or so. As pb (gratuitous link for the sake of beebo) would say, this is really two posts (or three), not one. But, like I say, I'm in a goofy mood. Living on the wild side. Look out!
