Matt points out there many Google hits for "pyra diet" -- mostly, people (person?) named Pyra talking about diet-related things in various forums -- could explain the email I got the other day (see below). Somehow. Interestingly, most of the Google hits I scanned -- all from different sources and with different contexts -- had something to do veganism and/or lactose intolerance. Why is that interesting? Because both of the founders of Pyra are non-meat and non-dairy eaters -- though, not quite vegans (even though, I agree, Jack, she doesn't sound like it). I'm also lactose intolerant.

Speaking of the name Pyra (which I didn't even realize people had when I made it up a year ago) and strange coincidences, pb found that, "The first name of Pyra leads you to assume considerable responsibility and to prefer to work independently, without direction or interference from others because you have very definite ideas of your own." Maybe that's why we've been reluctant to take outside financing? It continues: "Your mind is quick to comprehend and you can be depended upon to do any job well." Well, obviously. ;) "It is a name that makes you far too practical and serious-minded, and makes it difficult for you to act with spontaneity." Uh-oh.
