Wired News: "If entrepreneurs traditionally worked to build viable companies, high-tech entrepreneurs seem to be increasingly focused on building just a shell of a business that will be swallowed up by a bigger company before it ever has to show that it can stand on its own, critics say." Shell of a business is a good term. The lack of substance in many of the companies around here is amazing. But I've ranted on that before.
One funny thing I learned from this article: There's an "e-commerce consulting firm" called
Gomez Advisors. How could you take them seriously with that name? Or is it just me?
