I've been doing quite a lot of name-dropping this week, for which I
apologize, but holy cow: I just met Danny Hillis! He was awesome on the
"Scaling the Net" panel earlier, where he basically told href="http://www.exciteathome.com">George Bell he was full of shit
and why the biological nature of the net would win. Though George may
not think so (not that he wasn't tactful), Danny seemed to me like a
really nice guy. And he told me some great news: He left Disney last
week and is starting a new company. (Yay!) He wouldn't tell me what it
was, of course, but he stressed that he is recruiting. I almost said I
was available! (Just kidding, guys.
