Walking down Market street this morning, I glanced at one of those freebie newspaper/flyer-type distribution boxes and was surprised to see the words, "blog blog blog." At first, I assumed someone else was circumventing the term us webloggers have taken as our own and using it for their purposes. Upon closer inspection, I found that this freebie newspaper/flyer-type thing (the San Francisco Call) actually had a front-page story about, yes, weblogs. It called bloggers, "...happy-go-lucky spiders, busily spinning a shiny new web. Or actually, a wide world of webs, each different, which -- when bound together -- will create a framework that even the most determined multi-eyed agent of oppressions cannot break." Woah. Heavy, eh? The Call's web site is...uh...under construction, so for the full story, look for it in a freebie newspaper/flyer-type distribution box near you (in San Francisco).
