paxtonland: "mydiary.com is closed. They spammed the entire internet into using this site, got a user base of about 50,000-100,000, then closed without warning. All of those people pouring their hearts out online, forming the habbit of using that for their personal diaries." Wow. It's good to know that if the nice people behind the service I'm using to post this have any trouble, at least my content won't go down with them. Not that I have any doubt they're going to, ya know, rule the world and everything, but others who don't know the people and situation as intimately might. It gives one pause about putting your data into web apps when there's no clear way to get it back out, doesn't it?
