Internet World preview: Keep that content humming: "As Web sites become more complex and the number of people contributing content to them mushrooms, software developers are endeavoring to help companies better manage their content." The article goes on to talk about companies such as Akamba Corp., Akamai Technologies Inc., LizardTech Inc., Worldweb.net Inc. and Eprise Corp., all the while referring to "content management," even though most (if not all) or these companies are really about caching and content delivery. What's up with that? Has "content management" become an apply-everywhere buzzword?
