I hate to be a propagator of more dot-com doom, but I was somewhat interested in thirsty.com. Too bad. I wasn't that familiar with Thirsty, but Primeeight's analysis is telling. It's so easy to assume that what all these companies were trying to do can't be done right now, when in many cases, it may come down to how they were doing it.
Thirsty.com has closed up shop, big surprise there. It just didn't have staying power. I believe they were trying to seem so understanding of teenagers but it just didn't come across sincere to me.
