We're finally upgrading Blogger to the new back-end, as I write this. (The
site is down now -- I'm posting via email straight to the framework.)
Hopefully, this will finally squelch these performance problems. The new
version is blazing in the staging environment -- even on the same box -- but
you never know what will happen under load. I'm sure there will also be some
new issues cropping up, because we're changing a lot of code here, but it's
gotta be better than it's been lately, which is extremely painful.
