Yesterday on the bus (that used to be a train) there were a bunch of little kids and their teacher (or other adult-type person chaperoning around dozens of little kids), and the teacher asked these two boys what she should get her grandson, who, she said, was a bit younger than them, for Christmas. I expected to hear something like The Super Ultra Galactic Computerized Combat Robot 3000 or somesuch technologically advanced wonder. Instead they said, Legos and HotWheels. I guess it's not so different to be a kid these days, after all.
