Perhaps this is old news, but I hadn't seen it before: Amazon now lists products from not only itself and its zShops merchants, but other online stores (traditionally called competitors), as well. Not only that, I put something in my shopping cart, only to discover upon checkout that I was actually buying it from Office Depot. I found that a little disturbing—but mostly fascinating. Talk about a company not afraid to challenge assumptions.
