I was fairly excited when I got this email from Speakeasy: "As part of our network and service upgrades, we're increasing your circuit's speed at absolutely NO COST to you." Then, reading on: "We will upgrade your service from 1.5/384 to no upgrade - all the same great services complemented by an increased speed for the same base monthly fee you pay now!" (Emphasis, mine.) Oops. I guess 1.5/384 subscribers don't get upgraded. Too bad we forgot not to mail them.
