Feeds are great at showing change, but what happens when the subject stops changing, becomes irrelevant or redundant, or simply goes away?I think this is a UI issue. There's no reason that a feedreader has to list all the discreet feeds you've subscribed to ever, let alone use it as your navigation. And, in fact, that approach is already proving unscalable, even for feeds that do continue to be updated.
'Well, duh. Unsubscribe.' I guess. But that just shifts the management burden back to you, the user....Stretched out across a year, and I'd be drowning in folders with hundreds of expired feeds.
