I proposed something called Google Notebook when I worked there, which was very similar (although, I like my version better ;). I'm not suggesting my idea had anything to do with this; these things are in the air.
Also, I wonder if Erica Joy is in trouble. (Apparently, it was announced before—I'm not very observant.)
